Ancient Alphabets I love the look of Ancient Alphabets and letters. While this font is too whimsical for more traditional designs, it would make a welcome addition for more funky, laid-back, or creative brands or design projects. In this paper we consider a version derived therefrom using just unary predicates. The different sizes and angles of each letter in Junko’s Typewriter Font (paired with the random splotches that mimic ink stains on paper) make for a contemporary, whimsical font that is far from your run-of-the-mill typewriter text. Building on a reading of the Indian Schema as analogical reasoning, that is, smoke on the hill and the prior example of smoke in the kitchen being associated with fire in the kitchen leading to the conclusion that there is fire on the hill, we have previously suggested and investigated a formalisation of the Schema within a binary predicate language. Staal, have suggested that the Indian Schema (erstwhile Hindu Syllogism) from Gotama’s Nyāya-Sūtra should be understood in terms of an occurrence relation of an event happening at a locus (pakṣa).
